Greetings From Pastor and Sister Oliver to each of you in the precious name of Jesus Christ:

We trust you and your families are all enjoying the rich blessings of God in these times of trial and great difficulty. Certainly, we are living in the days when men’s hearts are failing them because of the things that are occurring every day.

Our heart’s desire and prayer to God is that you may know the love of God and experience the peace of God that passes all understanding. Without that peace, men and women will give up hope. Some have asked: “can things get any worse?” God’s word tells us that things are going to get worse. It says: “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”(II Tim. 3:13) That being the case, how can one escape?

The Bible tells us that God has a way of escape (I Cor. 10:13) for those who  receive Jesus as their personal savior and obey Him.

 If you are uncertain about escaping the dangers that are to come and eternal damnation, it simply means you are not a born again child of God. If you admit you are not living for God, please do these things:

1.        Ask God to forgive you of your sins

2.        Turn from your sinfulness and turn to (receive) Jesus as your savior

3.        Ask God to lead you to  a Bible believing church where the love of God, prayer, preaching, and Bible study exist

4.        Study God’s word and prayerfully apply it to your heart, living according to it

 If you are a child of the King, we rejoice with you and pray that your faith does not fail you. In either case, we want you to know that the Jones Chapel Church of God in Christ family would love to have you join us in any of our worship services.
